Yes, Keanu Reeves, one of the most popular Hollywood actors and the main star of The Matrix and John Wick movie franchises is now a comic book author. And his first ever creation is called BRZRKR (pronounced as Berzerker) which its first issue is slated to be released this coming October 2020.

Keanu Reeves co-written the BRZRKR comic book series with Matt Kindt and the art is illustrated by Alessandro Vitti and Bill Crabtree. It is going to be a 12-issue series and will be published by BOOM! Studios starting this October with the first issue.

Below is the synopsis released by BOOM! Studios:

"The man known as the Berzerker is half mortal and half God, cursed and compelled to violence... even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But after wandering the world for centuries, Berzerker may have finally found a refuge - working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, Berzerker will be granted the one thing he desires - the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence... and how to end it."

Keanu Reeves told USA Today that when he spoke with BOOM! Studios, he pitched them on his idea about "this character who was born 80,000 years ago, half-man, his father's a war god. It's  a little fantasy in reality. I had this image in my head of a guy fighting through ages because of his father's compulsion to violence but with the pathos of a man trapped and trying to figure it out."

While the BRZRKR won't be out until October 2020, BOOM! Studios has released some previews of the upcoming comics which you can see below.
