The TV series spinoff, which does not have an official title yet, is going to be an original DC drama focused on the story surrounding the Gotham City Police Department and will be tied to the same universe and timeline of Robert Pattinson-led movie version.

Matt Reeves, Terence Winter, and Dylan Clark in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television will be behind the series' production for the company's latest streaming platform. The series' goal is to "build upon the motion picture's examination of the anatomy of corruption in Gotham City, ultimately launching a new Batman universe across multiple platforms."
